My life with numbers…

Obviously I will admit this, that I have not been a solid number fan or a math lover or a math solver. I have always had okaish relationship with numbers but now as my work demands, I have walked into this fascinating world of numbers where logic plays a key role, numbers tell a story and help take marketing decisions easily.

I feel working with numbers is kind of easier than working with words. Never knew I would say that but that’s life. At times things you think that are super difficult for you, actually tap on your back one fine day and you have to accept them. But trust me, it gets so interesting and at times feels rewarding too. With numbers, in MarTech (Marketing Technology) there’s a sure shot factual output. You just have to put that forward to a stakeholder and your job is half done. It’s the best I feel.

Working with numbers have made me more active, more logical, more calculative (ofccc), more farsighted and more efficient in general. I am at my top game when we have to blend numbers with creativity with a campaign. CTR (click through rate) is my favourite metric, no CAP! Haha Gen Z language, isn’t this? CTR is the clicks:impressions ratio % and that defines how attractive or click-worthy your Ad is. Well, I have always lived in the creative world accompanied by numbers and have always given creativity a soft place in my heart but now it’s time I give that space to numbers and let words swing by whenever they want! ( like here in this blog).

It’s safe to say numbers have my heart now. Finishing this article on a weird note as it’s too late, I need to get some sleep and Adi has already entered his deep sleep!
